The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) is set to host a series of virtual events for the trade to learn about what the archipelago has to offer in 2022.
The sessions will be held from 22 to 25 November, from 9am until 12pm. Those interested must register by 17 November.
Over the course of the four days, travel agents and tour operators will learn about the product and experiences available that are suited to Malta’s key target markets: sun and culture, adventure, exploration and luxury.
The sessions have been designed to educate the trade on the latest updates from the destination ahead of the peak summer booking period in January and February.
Those who attend will also be in with the chance of winning a range of prizes, including wine, gastronomy bags and holidays to Malta.
Natalie Swinburne, trade marketing manager UK and Ireland, said the events were developed to ensure the authority’s trade partners have the latest knowledge about what the destination has to offer.
"There’s been significant investment in Malta’s tourism product over the past 18 months, so we want to ensure our trade partners are up to date on what’s new, what’s improved and what’s in the pipeline for next year, so that our travel agent partners have all product knowledge and tools to help generate those valuable enquiries and bookings," she added.
