Fully vaccinated travellers to Oman will no longer need to take a PCR test prior to departure as the country begins to ease its entry restrictions.
Oman’s Supreme Committee, which oversees matters in relation to the pandemic, has also removed the pre-registration requirement for all arrivals.
Vaccinated arrivals still need to provide evidence of health insurance which covers Covid-19 and unvaccinated travellers who cannot provide proof of medical reasons preventing them from being jabbed will be denied entry.
A spokesperson for Experience Oman said the move to relax the travel requirements will "pave the way" for "hassle-free" travel and encourage international visitors to the destination.
