National Holidays has launched its first-ever women’s football coach breaks, and urged agents to tap into growing demand for the women’s game.
Trips to see the Women’s Super League game between Manchester United and Arsenal next April are on sale now through the trade, as are packages for the Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley next May.
Two-day FA Cup final breaks lead in from £129pp based on two sharing, departing 13 May. Prices include return coach travel from select pick-up points in the north-west of England and the West Midlands, one night’s B&B accommodation, a match-day ticket and free time in London.
Packages from the Manchester United versus Arsenal game in Leigh start from £109pp based on two sharing, departing 22 April, and also include return coach travel from select pick-up points in Yorkshire, one night’s B&B accommodation with breakfast and dinner, and a match-day ticket.
Claire Dutton, National Holidays trade sales manager, said: “Our sporting packages are going from strength to strength, and for 2023 we have even more options for agents to promote. It is so great to see women’s football in our portfolio for the first time as this now has a huge following. I would urge agents in the relevant pick-up areas to promote these breaks across all channels as I am sure it will grab the attention of many customers."
National has also put new cricket and darts breaks on sale. A two-day break to the opening match of the 2023 Ashes next June at Edgbaston in Birmingham, departing 17 June 2023, leads in from £249pp with return coach travel from pick-up points in the north-east of England and Yorkshire.
Packages, based on two sharing, also include one night’s B&B accommodation, a day two ticket and time to explore Birmingham.
Meanwhile, a two-day trip to see the Premier League Darts in Birmingham, departing 6 April 2023, leads in from £129pp (based on two sharing) and includes return coach travel from the north-west, one night’s B&B accommodation, darts admission and free time in Birmingham.
"It’s important to remember that a coach break is a great way to secure tickets to popular sporting events, and with accommodation and transportation included, it really couldn’t be easier," added Dutton. "Our range of options includes everything from horse racing and Formula One to rugby and darts and now women’s football – so there is a huge choice.”
