Riviera Travel is expanding its fleet next year with the addition of two new ships – the 178-passenger Riviera Radiance and 114-passenger Riviera Rose.
The ships will launch in March and April 2025 respectively, with the Riviera name on their bows.
Radiance will have three decks plus a sun deck, and three dining venues including a new restaurant called Mosaic, offering guests dishes inspired by European rivers.
The ship’s 32 square metre Grand Suites are the largest-ever offered by the operator. They will feature a separate lounge area and a balcony with seating.
Other facilities include a swimming pool, spa, wellness area and dining venue, RiverView Kitchen, complete with an open kitchen.
Radiance is Riviera’s first ship that qualifies for the Gold Standard in the Green Awards programme for shipping.
This programme sets out independently verified standards in safety and environmental performance.
Rose will offer 57 cabins across three decks, including four Balcony Suites with outside seating.
The ship’s facilities also include a restaurant, a bar and lounge, as well as a fitness room and sun deck with a swimming pool.
Ahead of Riviera’s 40th anniversary celebrations next month, chief executive Phil Hullah said: “The introduction of these beautiful ships marks a key chapter in the Riviera story, as we proudly showcase our name on the bow of the vessels and accelerate our growth plans.
“Both Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose will deliver an exceptional guest experience, with new public spaces, dining experiences, and our largest-ever suites on Radiance.
“We are confident that guests will love the new additions and cannot wait for them to join us onboard.”
