Greece specialist Sunvil Holidays has acquired the assets of Jewel in the Crown Holidays.
Liquidators BM Advisory said that three offers were received with Sunvil putting forward the highest bid.
The deal was ratified by creditors on April 26.
Jewel in the Crown, which had been in business for 29 years, ceased trading on April 1.
The company blamed the collapse on the challenging trading environment in its main destination of Turkey.
At the time of its demise there were no customers abroad but around 1,200 forward bookings according to the CAA.
All members of staff (six permanent and five part time) were made redundant.
“Although Jewel in the Crown Holidays had a long and proud reputation of providing specialist travel services to Turkey, tourism to the region has been badly hit as a result of the political instability. This has severely affected the business’ cash flow and its ability to continue trading,” BM Advisory’s Richard Keley said earlier this month.
