Could you be a 2022 Travel Pride Champion?
Sophie GriffithsTTG is on the hunt once again for new Travel Pride Champions – celebrating those working within the travel industry who champion diversity and inclusion.
The awards will be presented at this year’s Travel Pride on 5 July, taking place at central London venue The Deck.
The free-to-attend event will kick off TTG’s Fairer Travel Week – a week dedicated to pushing for fairer travel and an industry that is kinder to both the environment and the people that work within it.
Travel Pride will celebrate diversity in travel, with both LGBT+ people and allies from across the industry invited to attend.
The event will include the announcement of the 2022 Travel Pride Champions, honouring members of the travel industry who are working to champion diversity and inclusion, either within their own business or organisation, or with their customers.
The awards are aimed at those working from a junior level to middle management, and the changes that they have driven don’t have to be large. For example even starting a conversation about D&I or championing the establishment of a clear CSR policy within your business can be a significant step.
You can enter yourself or a colleague – just state in no more than 350 words why you think you/this person deserves to be a Travel Pride Champion here.

“Travel Pride has now become a must attend in the calendar for LGBT+ people and allies working in travel and we’re proud to once again celebrate those who go above and beyond to champion diversity, equity and inclusion across the sector with our Travel Pride Champions programme.
