TTG is set to host a new online festival helping travel agents boost their knowledge and confidence in selling more sustainable holidays.
TTG Fairer Travel Festival, in association with easyJet holidays, will take place 1-5 July as part of TTG Fairer Travel Month.
The week-long programme will feature short sessions to inspire agents to gain the expertise and contacts they need to sell more confidently - plus prizes will be up for grabs from each event partner.
During the festival agents will be able to hear directly from destinations and suppliers showcasing what makes their products a great choice for a more responsible holiday, that’s kinder to the planet and to local communities.
EasyJet holidays joins the festival as headline partner following its recent move to stop selling zoos and marine parks under a wide-ranging new animal welfare policy.
Matt Callaghan, chief operating officer, said: “As one of the UK’s largest tour operators, we’re committed to working with our trusted travel agent partners to help our mutual customers holiday better, so we’re delighted to be headline partner for the TTG Fairer Travel Festival.
“We’re looking forward to sharing what we’ve learned on our sustainability journey so far, and equipping our agent partners with the tools they need to sell more sustainable holidays with confidence.”
Agents tuning in to Fairer Travel Festival will also hear from AE Expeditions, Greek National Tourism Organisation, Iberostar, Intrepid, Spring Hotels and TTC Tour Brands, with more partners to be announced.
