Tui launches 'extra thank you' incentives to boost trade sales
Harry KembleTui has launched booking incentives to boost sales via independent agents during the peak January booking period.
The incentives run for five weeks starting from 22 December, with direct communications going to all agents in the build-up to Christmas.
They include the chance to win vouchers and prizes in exchange for bookings for selected hotels, including Karisma, RIU, Royalton, Atlantica and Tui Hotels and Resorts.
Marella Cruises, meanwhile, will be offering an incentive for all bookings made between 24 December 2023 and 27 January 2024.
Any agent who books a Marella sailing during this time period will be included in a prize draw to win a four-night sailing for two people.
Tui UK and Ireland chief marketing officer Neil Swanson said: “Not only do we have a huge range of products and some fantastic January deals coming out, we are now giving agents that added incentive to book with Tui.
“From vouchers to on-the-spot prizes and even a Marella cruise – these incentives are an extra thank you from us to agents for selling Tui to their customers.”
Tui is offering agents a selection of turn-of-year deals to share with customers to boost their peaks business.
Customers booking through agents can save across package beach breaks, Tui River Cruises, Marella Cruises and Tui Lakes and Mountains.
Tui’s raft of booking incentives and deals come as Jet2holidays – the UK’s largest tour operator – unveiled its “heavyweight” peaks campaign which agents helped design.
The campaign features a £60 discount for customers who book through the trade.
Jet2holidays believes its Prepare2Peak campaign offers agents the knowledge, tools and level of incentivisation to “drive more footfall, enquiries and sales during the peak booking period”.
EasyJet and easyJet holidays, meanwhile, have launched their “biggest-ever” peaks campaign, discounting more than 1.2 million UK seats and thousands of package holidays.
Agents must use the BIGSALE code to access discounts of up to £300 when booking before 11pm on 5 February.
