Virgin Atlantic has renewed its global distribution agreement with travel tech provider Sabre, the carrier announced on Tuesday (4 April).
Under the extended partnership, Sabre will offer Virgin Atlantic’s content through its online marketplace, enabling thousands of its customers to access the airline’s products and offers.
Virgin Atlantic chief commercial officer Juha Jarviven said the extended deal will help the airline “optimize our approach to product distribution and improve our customers’ booking experience.”
Jarviven’s words were echoed by Jean-Vincent Teuler – Sabre’s vice-president for Europe, Middle East and Africa – who said the agreement was “testament to the commitment of both Virgin Atlantic and Sabre to providing rich content through our global distribution network.”
