Cultural Attractions of Australia, has announced the launch of a new bespoke experience with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS).
The AIS Insider’s Gold Experience takes visitors on an exclusive-access personalised tour meeting athletes and AIS experts, as well as including a VR experience, lunch with an AIS athlete and a selection of merchandise. The 3-hour experience costs A$500 (approx. £255) per person for a minimum of two people.
The Institute is synonymous with sporting excellence and innovation. As a world-class facility, the AIS not only nurtures elite athletes - many of whom were seen in this year’s Paris Olympics - but also offers visitors an immersive experience into the world of high-performance sport. Through interactive tours and exhibitions, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of Australia’s sporting achievements and the dedication behind them.
A recent member of CAOA, the AIS joins the collective’s 19-strong membership that unite Australia’s landmark attractions, celebrating the country’s diverse artistic, cultural, historical and sporting influences. CAOA provides a range of curated, behind-the-scenes experiences that are an ideal way for travellers to immerse themselves in Australian culture.
The AIS Insider’s Gold Experience experience joins other sporting experiences, including the recently launched Keepers’ Collection Tour from the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) - a private behind-the-scenes guided walkthrough of the Australian Sports Museum.
This experience is an intimate encounter with over 25,000 sporting treasures dating back to the 1800s, including trophies, uniforms, artwork and sporting equipment. The 45-minute tour costs A$175 (approx £90) per person and joins a variety of premium all-access tours available at the MCG, alongside the Australian Sports Museum.
Other CAOA sporting experiences include the Adelaide Oval Legends Tour at the Adelaide Oval, which takes visitors behind the scenes to learn the fascinating stories surrounding this stadium with tours of the Bradman Collection, as well as Sir Donald’s private and personal collection.
Cultural Attractions of Australia (CAOA) provides a single point of contact for travel trade. The curated experiences offered through the collective are pre-bookable and fully commissionable to trade. CAOA has a dedicated trade website where rates and images can be accessed. While CAOA works as a collective, each attraction will need to be contacted to obtain net rates, reservation details, booking and payment conditions. Relevant contact details for each attraction are available on the CAOA Rate Sheet accessed by registering via their website.
