Inspiring Journeys unveils new itineraries for 2025/26 season

Inspiring Journeys has launched its 2025/26 programme, with three new tours promising to uncover the ‘best kept secrets’ in Australia.

The brand, a sister company to AAT Kings, offers immersive, premium, and smaller-group travel experiences. With an average group size of 16, tours can include more off-the-beaten-path locations, boutique accommodations, and award-winning restaurants - with many premium experiences and meals included in the fare.  

 

The three new Inspiring Journeys tours for 2025/26 are:

 

Kimberley Gorges and Gibb River Road – 11-days, from £5,837pp. Highlights include:

 

  • Cruising through the Ord River and Chamberlain Gorge
  • Stays at secluded lodges such as Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge and Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge
  • Dramatic landscapes of the Kimberley, from the iconic orange and black striped Bungle Bungle domes to the warm thermal waters of Zebedee Springs
  • Guided tours of Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek

 

Tasting Tasmania and Flinders Island – 7-days, from £3,652pp. Highlights include: 

 

  • Experiencing the best of Launceston, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, with paddock-to-plate dining and seafood feasts 
  • Scenic flights over the Bay of Fires and Wineglass Bay
  • Stays in serene locations such as Barnbougle Lost Farm and Freycinet National Park Lodge

 

South Australia Murray River Cruise and Wine – 7-days, from £3,717pp. Highlights include:

 

  • Farm-to-fork lunch at Adelaide’s famous Central Market
  • Two-night Murray River cruise on board the Proud Mary, visiting Mannum, Berri and the Monarto Safari Park
  • Learning about wine making in McLaren Vale, home of the d’Arenburg Cube
  • Gin-blending masterclass at the 23rd Distillery

 

Discounts of up to 10% are available for bookings made before 6 December 2024, on selected departures from the new programme.

 

New elements and experiences have also been added to itineraries in New Zealand, such as overnight stays at Furneaux Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds, the over-water Trinity Wharf Tauranga hotel, and Lake Ōhau lodge. New experiences include visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set and Overland Gannett Safaris.
