Australia’s largest luxury travel trade show will close registration in less than four weeks to begin its appointment-matching process for buyers and suppliers.
Luxperience 2024 has urged agents to register for this year’s event sooner rather than later, saying it expects to fill the final places ahead of schedule.
The Australian show will take place between 19 and 22 November at the ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour, bringing together more than 1,000 industry professionals for the country’s largest annual luxury travel trade gathering.
Established by Helen Logas in 2012, Luxperience gives advisors from all over the world an opportunity to meet luxury suppliers, make connections and create business opportunities.
Agents will also have one-to-one appointments with suppliers, all of which has been personally matched by the show’s organisers.
Promoted as a “central feature” of Luxperience, this pairing programme runs from 9am to 6pm on each day of the event and has been designed to benefit both agents and suppliers. The organisers assign delegates pre-scheduled diaries, which list appointments with partners that cater to their business needs and product interests.
Suppliers must do a minimum of 42 appointments with advisors over the course of the three days, each lasting approximately 15 minutes.
“Luxperience is known for the quality of appointments,” says event director Lynn Ormiston. “We know that the time and investment of all guests is extremely valuable, however our difference is the ‘uncompromising’ approach we take to finding the perfect match for luxury travel lovers to make connections and create business opportunities.”
With less than four weeks to go until registration closes, advisors are being encouraged by Luxperience to book their space “as quickly as possible”.
“Once we close or fill registrations, we are unable to re-open as our appointment-matching premise is critical. The right ratio of global and national advisors must synchronise with our luxury and unique travel suppliers,” said guest experience manager, Lauren Dunemann.
“Our incredible fam programmes are almost full and we are anticipating a record-breaking event from the quality of partners to buyers and the number of incredible famils for our guests, pre and post Luxperience.”
The event will also host a Luxperience Education programme, which includes a series of seminars and workshops from industry leaders that run alongside the order of appointments. On the final day of the conference, an awards ceremony will be held to recognise the luxury sector’s high achievers.
According to Ormiston, the event still has “several exciting announcements to be made over the next few weeks”.
