Ambassador Cruise Line plans to recruit a deputy head of trade as part of efforts to bolster its in-house team and support travel agents.
The deputy head of trade will play “a key role in leveraging existing commercial relationships to maximise sales opportunities”, Ambassador said.
The successful applicant will report into Nicola Harper, the line’s head of distribution, and will manage key trade partnerships with an emphasis on revenue and relationship building.
The no-fly cruise has also created new business development manager and business development executive roles, which it is currently looking to fill.
The line said the recruitment drive will help it meet the needs of its trade partners in “the most effective and productive way possible”.
Ambassador’s recruitment drive follows its most successful season launch ever, with revenue more than doubling year-on-year in the first month of trading since the 2025/26 programme went on sale on 21 March.
