The two-day Adventure Travel Networking (ATN) Conference & Marketplace 2024 is inviting those registered for the virtual supplier and buyer marketplace to book their appointments and one-to-one meeting slots from tomorrow (15 February).
Now in its fourth year, the hybrid event is still accepting registrations from buyers of adventure travel, including tour operators and travel agency product managers, for its virtual marketplace on 27 February. Registration is free of charge and buyers will have access to a range of tourist boards and DMC partners.
Supplier stalls are sold out, as is the in-person ATN24 Conference two days later (29 February).
The two-day hybrid event will welcome 250 UK adventure tour operators, overseas suppliers, DMCs, destinations, emerging markets, unique accommodation providers, trade associations, industry speakers and travel media outlets.
“The ATN Conference & Marketplace is the only event of its kind in the UK that focuses purely on the adventure and experiential travel sector, with a positive impact,” says Pru Goudie, ATN founder and director.
“The supplier/buyer marketplace brings together global DMCs, tour operators and tourist boards” to meet and forge valuable business partnerships.”
The virtual marketplace will offer an accessible and time-efficient means of attending meetings for its global audience.
“We try to practice what we promote and have chosen to keep the supplier/buyer marketplace virtual for multiple reasons." says Goudie. “It’s more inclusive and affordable for the trade to participate, we bring together a global audience whilst keeping our carbon footprint down and it’s one afternoon of online meetings, meaning the marketplace is time-efficient and accessible to all."
TTG Media has been the trade media partner of ATN from its inception and will be attending the now sold-out conference.
The day’s agenda includes the role of tourism in protecting biodiversity, the concept of ’positive impact tourism’, trends in the M&A market in travel, and exclusive research into adventure traveller intention for 2024.
"With trends, sustainability and technology top of the agenda we have curated a brilliant conference,” Goudie adds.
“This is a full day of conferencing with an evening networking drinks reception allowing key players in the adventure travel sector to come together to network and openly discuss these pressing issues.”
