Cunard’s upcoming vessel Queen Anne will sail its first-ever transatlantic voyage and world cruise in 2025.
In January 2025, the vessel will sail from Southampton to New York, before heading off on its debut 111-night world cruise, visiting more than 30 ports in five continents.
Nine overnight calls are also included, in destinations such as San Francisco, Honolulu and Singapore. The ship will sail its maiden voyage from Southampton to Lisbon in January 2024.
The announcement comes as part of the line’s Alaska 2024 and winter 2025 itineraries, which will see the company’s four vessels embark on an 38-night sailing in June 2024.
The voyage starts with a trip around the Mediterranean onboard Queen Victoria, then embarking on Queen Anne for a sailing from Rome to Southampton before travelling across the Atlantic on Queen Mary 2. Guests will then fly to Vancouver to board Queen Elizabeth for the final leg in Alaska.
Queen Elizabeth will also offer a series of nine and 11-night roundtrip Vancouver voyages between May and September 2024.
Elsewhere, the vessel will sail a mixture of short and long voyages in Australian waters before heading to Japan, where highlights include a nine-night Golden Week voyage and a 19-night Grand Voyage itinerary to Nagasaki.
Between January and May 2025, the fleet’s flagship Queen Mary 2 will combine its transatlantic crossings with visits to multiple destinations across Europe and the Americas, while Queen Victoria embarks on a 78-night South American sailing from Southampton to Brazil, Chile, and Ecuador.
Sture Myrmell, president of Carnival UK, said: "We’re so excited to share our newest programme featuring some fantastic itineraries and – with over 130 to choose from – you’ll certainly be spoiled for choice.
