Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their 2023 programme to Greece even further with the addition of three new routes and extended seasons.
Following a "hugely successful" summer 2022 – which saw the companies operate their biggest ever programme to Greece without any cancellations – the airline and operator have further increased their 2023 offering to the European country.
The extended programme includes three new routes (Bristol-Chania, East Midlands-Santorini and Stansted-Athens); 1.3 million seats; the addition of Athens as a year-round destination; an extended season to Rhodes and Halkidiki and increased frequency to Corfu, Rhodes and Skiathos.
Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, is in Greece this week to meet hoteliers, industry representatives and government to detail the growth plans, as well as Jet2’s commitment to the country.
"As the UK’s leading airline and tour operator to Greece, we have responded to continued demand for Greek holidays from UK holidaymakers by providing them with the holiday choices that they want and growing our programme to Greece even further," Heapy said.
"I am looking forward to meeting current and future partners and telling them all about our award-winning business, how we have expanded enormously in Greece and how we are here to stay, building long-term partnerships as we succeed."
