Lancashire explains: "We really do believe that that on-the-ground, immersive experiences are what can really level-up an agent’s understanding and confidence in selling a resort, a destination and a luxury experience to their clients, and we absolutely invest in that. We’ve got wonderful partnerships with our supplier partners – both on the ground and in the air – and we we work with them to really craft farm trips that are not just bouncing from one hotel to the next, but actually allow our agents to experience a resort and a destination as one of their guests would."
In 2024 Pure Luxury has increased it’s fam-trip offering by 50% year-on-year, running four trips for agents, which are also attended by the operators’ team. Lancashire adds: "They get to experience the destinations and the resorts, and get the chance to build relationships with our agents and our suppliers. We are continually investing in our internal teams."
The Middle East and the Indian Ocean are Pure Luxury’s top-selling destinations, and Lancashire explains: "They continue to go from strength to strength. There are such incredible luxury and ultra-luxury product offerings in these regions."
Thailand has also seen a "significant" increase in bookings year-on-year for both 2024 and 2025 departures, and multi-centre holidays are also growing in popularity, with Pure Luxury recently launching its Tailor-Made Escapes brochure.
Lancashire also noted that booking lead times are almost back to pre-pandemic levels. "We’ve seen a bit of a longer lead time within that luxury space. I do think the luxury traveller is maybe more considered and really looking at what they want and wanting to craft that true, immersive luxury experience."
