This month’s Visit Florida Showcase, to be hosted by TTG Media on 21-22 February, will reveal clips from new ITV series Jimmy Doherty’s Taste of Florida as part of a session on how to harness the power of TV in travel marketing.
The five-part series will air its first episode on 12 February and shine a light on the diversity and richness of the state’s culinary scene, with travel agents attending the showcase able to learn how to utilise gastronomic knowledge of Florida in their marketing.
This advice-led session, which is just one part of the two-day virtual training event, will also reveal an exclusive message to travel agents from the TV presenter, farmer and conservationist Jimmy Doherty.
The Visit Florida Showcase is free to attend and features additional educational sessions covering tips for matching clients to different Florida destinations and experiences, the latest product news, emerging trends and essential information for travel agents.
Visit Florida’s president and CEO Dana Young will be present, answering TTG’s questions as well as those from the audience.
Attendees will have the opportunity to win a prize, with details of this yet to be confirmed.
